Long Distance Runaround: more YES lyrics by Bea describing the destruction of Earth via an alien attack

The above picture is the album cover for the Yes album “Fragile” on which these songs appear. The image is of a large spaceship circling Earth. The song Roundabout was previously described and another on this album is called Long Distance Runaround. Both of these songs by Bea are about the total annihilation of Earth via an “alien attack.” A third song by Yes decoded on the blog is I’ve Seen All Good People, Your Move, which likes Hera’s rape, torture and murder to a chess match.

Long Distance Runaround lyrics, explained in parens.

Long distance runaround
Long time waiting to feel the sound (waiting decades for the right moment to kill my me, my wife and family, and then hit the entire “planet” in her time loop with sound guns as part of the “alien attack” which “subscribers” are invited to participate in by Bee, Nymph, Psyche and Kodiak, among others; “long time” also refers to aliens – aliens are “long” and humans are “short” in Bee’s lexicon, so the “longs” are waiting for the sound gun attack)
I still remember the dream there (another reference to Hera’s wiped memory, our lifespan here in each loop described as a single “day” and the “dream” and “there” meaning the downstairs reality vs. the upstairs, which indicates that others upstairs know about and participate in these attacks on my family)
I still remember the time you said goodbye (reference to each time we die in each loop)
Did we really tell lies (“truth” refers to humans and “lies” refers to aliens in Bee’s lexicon, and also we believe this reference is made by Bee to the original event that caused humans to become extinct).
Letting in the sunshine (knocking holes on the atmosphere to irradiate the population within the loop designated for destruction)
Did we really count to one hundred (reference by Bee to the first “alien attack” on the original human planet, where we now believe Bee created the appearance of a disagreement that led to the entire human race being destroyed preemptively by another civilization)

Cold summer listening (the broadcast of these alien attacks as sport)
Hot color melting the anger to stone (again loss of protective atmosphere)
I still remember the dream there
I still remember the time you said goodbye
Did we really tell lies
Letting in the sunshine
Did we really count to one hundred

Long distance runaround
Long time waiting to feel the sound
I still remember the dream there
I still remember the time you said goodbye

Cold summer listening
Hot colour melting the anger to stone
I still remember the dream there
I still remember the time you said goodbye
Did we really tell lies
Letting in the sunshine
Did we really count to one hundred

Looking for the sunshine (this is letting in the sunshine by destroying the earth’s atmosphere but also refers to looking for Hera, myself and our children, who are locatable here by Bee because she adds a holographic layer to us so that in others’ perceptions, we “shine” and stand out amongst other humans, making easier targets)
